Women Literacy Classes in North, North-west and west Delhi

TARGET: Population: 1680 Vulnerable population (illiterate/uneducated & poor women) residing in the J. J. Clusters/ Resettlement colonies/ unauthorized colonies/villages of North & North-west Delhi and at least 40 % beneficiaries from SC/ST Communities.

OBJECTIVES : 

• To advocate about women literacy programme and give them opportunity to learn Basic Educational Programme.
• To provide them quality of functional education and reduced literacy rate.
• To provide them an opportunity to main stream of the society.

ACTIVITES: -​

• Identification of eligible venerable women & out of school girls.
• Procurement of materials, equipment’s.
• Continuing Literacy Center
• Periodically internal test of WLC’s learners
• Evaluation and Test of WLC’s Learners
• To follow-up and linkages for services.

METHODOLOGY:

Interests find out after the discussion with the vulnerable population Women & Girls who are out of schools. There will be 28 Women Learning Centers which covered 1680 Women & Girls who are out of schools in 12 months. Learning Materials will be provided to each trainee. Computer as well as practical classes will be arranged for WLC’s learners.
