ARADHYA India’s health care initiative for the elderly is organizing health camps in rural as well as urban areas of the country. ARADHYAin association with its network has successfully organised both general and specialized health camps for the elderly.
Health for underprivileged, which is desperate need, thus remains unaddressed. Urban slum dwellers suffer from adverse health conditions owing to mainly two reason- first the lack awareness and lack of education, second the unwillingness to lose a day’s wage in order to reach the nearest medical facility.
ARADHYA organized a general health camp for urban slum areas we addressed the various concerns of the patients and dispensed medicines where patients went back fully satisfied with the services provided.
A number of charitable permanent health centers and mobile clinics are operated by ARADHYA in India, providing much needed health care to people who least can afford it. Children/youth affected by polio will be given calipers to support their limbs, limb amputees. ARADHYA distributed tricycles, wheelchairs and crutches on a need based assessment. ARADHYA typically work closely with a number of doctors, nurses, patients and we have some skills like- patience, complex problem solving, and critical thinking. Our primary purpose is to help clients meet the financial, emotional and social needs related to injury, illness. We often provide therapeutic services to patients and their families as well, particularly in crisis situations when injury or death have occurred.
