VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, Muzaffarpur, Bihar

OBJECTIVES         :

  1. To advocate about Skill Development and give them opportunity to learn skill development Programme.
  2. To empower adolescents / youths for generate income through skill development course and give them opportunity to improve in economic status & living condition of families and reduce vulnerability.
  3. To provide them an opportunity to main stream of the society.

 

ACTIVITES UNDERTAKEN : -

  1. Identified 201 learners through door-to-door survey.
  2. Manpower appointed as per project need.
  3. Building hired for vocational training.
  4. Teaching & learning materials & equipment’s have been procured.
  5. Setting-up skill development training centers (around 90%)
  6. The 1st session/classes for beauty culture and computer trade have started from 1st April 2021 but stopped due to Covid-19 outbreak but Classes are running on virtual mode during lockdown and physically started from 16.06.2021
  7. Awareness program /conveyancing has been initiated.

 

 

 

The following activities conducted at the Center:

 

  1. Beauty Culture Training:

 

Beauty is the attraction of everyone. Everybody wants to look like beautiful. The organization is conducting training for three months and There are 2 batches and covering 100 students. The certificates will be issued for the courses with affiliation by “Jan Shikshan Sansthan, /NSDC “Ministry of HRD.

The following activities undertaken:

  • Identification of learners
  • Set-up of classes (90%)
  • Purchased training equipment’s & learning materials

Classes are running on virtual mode during lockdown and physically started from 16.06.2021

  1. Computer Training :-

 

Now a day computer is essential for everyone. Now computer has use in all department, telecommunication, mail, internets, documentation, promotion of trades The course is offered to 100 students in 3 months. It is more useful for all. The certificates will be issued for the courses with affiliation by “Jan Shikshan Sansthan/ NSDC, “Ministry of HRD. The following activities under taken.

  • Set-up computer class room (90% completed).
  • Learning materials procured.
  • Learners is being identified
  • Classes are running on virtual mode during lockdown and physically started from 16.06.2021
  •  

Soft Skill Training: Soft skill (spoken, personality development) training center has been set-upped and 100 learners have been identified.

Awareness Programme: Manpower like Coordinator, Teacher, Mobiliser and volunteers are creating awareness about vocational training programme through door to door visit, nukkad meetings, meetings with local leaders and institutions.

Review meeting with staff: The secretary has conducted staff review meeting at vocational training center.
