Saheli Samanvay Kendra ICDS/Hub Area Sakurpur (NW), and S.S.N.C. Bhalswa, North Delhi.

OBJECTIVES :

1. To improve socio-economic empowerment of women and their integration in the family.
2. To advocate about Saheli Samanvay Kendra (SSK) and give them opportunity to get benefits of its Programme.
3. To empower adolescents / youths for generate income through skill development course and give them opportunity to improve in economic status & living condition of families and reduce vulnerability.
4. To provide them quality of education and reduced drop-out rate.
5. To create Awareness about Welfare Schemes, Social Security & other child welfare schemes,
6. To provide them an opportunity to main stream of the society.

Samvad :-  Skill Development & SHGs:

The meeting was started with introduction session about the NGO is working in the field of health education, women safety, skill development like computer, beauty culture etc. Today we have conducted sessions on skill development & formation of Self Help Group.  We also discussed about the process of SHG formation and its benefits. Some women asked about literacy programme of women. Then we told that we are running women literacy program for women and skill development program will be start from Oct 2021. We also discussed about the process of SHG formation and its benefits but non of the beneficiaries interested for SHG formation.

2. Community mobilizer and Instructor of the ARADHYA visited in targeted area create awareness about skill development program and motivate women and girls for skill development program named beauty culture, sewing and computer.

Date – 14/9/2021

Aradhya team visited at hub center and interacted with beneficiaries & worker of SSK who provided list of learners and we started enrollment of learners for skill development course. We have enrolled 40 learners for skill development training. Admission process was completed on 30.09.2021. all the learners are taking classes from 1^st October 2021. They are keen interested to learn and earn after completion of course.

Aradhya communication team visited at M Block Area, Sakurpur and performed street play on supplementary nutrition program and awareness for paushtik Aahar for pregnant and lactating mothers.

After that I also informed the audience about ARADHYA ongoing activities near by community such as skill development training on beauty parlor, sewing, computer training and soft skill training, women literacy center.
